McDonalds Adventure Time Happy Meal 2014
Adventure Time takes a stab at Happy Meal this month. Nice collection of figures, too bad it wasn't a little larger. I think I would have been fine with the action feature Finn and Jake being nixed for a Princess Bubblegum and a Lady Rainicorn, but I will take what we can get. Figures look great for Happy Meal. I like the bendable ones more than I thought I would too.

Halo Universe Cortana
Good Lord, toys like this could get me beat up!
I REALLY had no interest in this Cortana action figure, and for the first time in toy history, I bought a toy strictly for the display base. Hey, its a large base, and lights up! (can the toy get any more kinky?)
I actually played through Halo 4, not playing through Halo 1, 2, or 3, I was pretty lost. Cortana here, from what I could gather, was a blueberry jelly blob alien life form, that transformed into the shape pleasing to the Master Chef.
I really don't know what to say about this toy, no articulation, but uh, good proportions.
The good news was that the toy was fifty percent off the lowest price (five bucks). The Bad news was the batteries were not included, or swiped by some Idaho cheap skate. So now I have a display stand that doesn't light up yet.
The worst of it is, that it reveals one more flaw to Finn, no holes on his feet to stand on a display base!

Adventure Time Jake with BMO by Jazwares
I am not totally sure why I bought Jake other than to compliment Finn. As action figures go, these are pretty awful. Well, their likeliness is good, their function as action figures is the awful part. They barely stand, their articulation is faulty at best, and its a small miracle to get them to stand.
But I had a Finn, and you can't have Finn without Jake.
Jake comes with an extra fist (that is murder to fit on tiny his hand, and that much more difficult to stand). He is a pretty big figure, but like an Easter egg, pretty hollow.
The plus side with the toy is the added BMO figurine.
Adventure Time is now on Netflix so go check it out if you haven't seen it yet, its Mathematical.

Adventure Time Stretchy Finn ITEM #14211
Adventure Time with Finn & Jake is the greatest show of all time. It fits my silly persona perfectly. I had Stretchy Finn on my short list forever, but I thought I was going to have to "online it", but I found one today at our local Hastings shop.
They captured his look perfectly! Not that a character of such simplicity would be that hard to capture. His function is pretty bad though. I had a feeling he wan't going to be a very solid figure. Made by Cartoon Network or "J" toys or whatever, he is not constructed that great, almost feels like a custom toy. His stretchy arms are fun to play with, but his crappy jointed legs make him difficult to stand. A display stand would have been helpful. He is kind of fun to play with in hands though, as you can manipulate his stretch arms to look kind of life like.
The backpack is too heavy, and unbalances the figure. It might be removable, but I worry it might break. He has somewhat smooth neck and waist 360 rotation. The sword accessory is the bonus to the figure.
I would say if you love the show as much as i do, get the Finn!
