I was fortunate to view a H.I.S.S. Tank in the wild today, here is my story.
I heard a loud noise in the backyard. I ran to go see. In the distance a Cobra H.I.S.S Tank V.5.
It spotted me first, and raised to strike!
It looked at me.
I looked at it closer.
A canopy opened, and a tiny man appeared.
He exited momentarily and stated that this land is now in Cobra's control.
He then went on his way.

I actually have two of these - I bought the (full price) one at Walmart (which is the purple-ish/brown-ish one) then snared a one at Ross for $12, which is the black one. I don't normally do repeats but the black colouring was too good to pass up.
I didn't know the black one truly existed in the wild, i thought it was only rumored. How did you know it was a black one?
They started showing up in Ross Dress for Less a couple of months ago.
The trick to it is to check the stamped number on the box base. I posted an image and some extra info when I Reviewed it here:

Thanks lok, I will have to look for that one too. I am so impressed with this toy! I am glad I found one for a good deal too. I think owning two is well worth the small army.
If you find it in a Ross store, you're pretty much guaranteed the HISS Tank will be black.
While you're there, grab a VAMP, too - it's a phenomenally good vehicle.
