The Smurfs Micro Village Poet Smurf Starter Set

The Micro Villages have pretty much run their course, but i still had a Poet Smurf set to share. This is another one of those new hats to Malibu Stacey deals, where the highlight of the set is a tiny row boat, and some additional river pieces for my large Smurf Village collection.  Poet looks pretty funny, with his mouth agape and quill and paper.

Micro Land Super Mario Bros. U World of Nintendo

I was floored to find out that Mario was next in line to get the Micro treatment from JAKKS Pacific. I was also floored that the build treatment matched the Smurfs Micro Village puzzle tile layout. So now the floor plan can get bigger and bigger. Its not with out some pit falls though, the price is high for just a few tiles that really don't do that much. Mario looks good though, and with a few more sets, you can quickly set up a nice level. There are Acron Plains levels and Layer cake desert levels to start. I can see this as only the beginning!

The Smurfs Micro Village Circus Smurf Starter Set Series 2

I finally broke down and paid the high dollar for a couple Series 2 sets. They are no where to be found at local retail, only appearing on Amazon.com.  I really needed this Circus Starter set, mainly for the cannon. It was the worth the extra bucks.

Smurfs Micro Village Summer Season Beach Set

Smurfing you again, this time with the Summer Season Set Toys R Us Exclusive. This one is radically different from the others, as the base tiles feature sand! A fun set for the Smurfs to get away and soak in some sun. Comes with Smurfette and Lifeguard Smurf. It would have been nice for a different Smurf than ette though. Still fun though.

Swing Set Fail and a Portland Haul

I just got back from a nice (but way too short) trip to the Oregon Coast.  More awesome weather shots are posted on the IDstormtroopers page. Fall is a great time to get out and overturn rocks and stuff.

I also got sometime in at Toys R Us Jantzen Beach Portland, where they actually restock their toys regularly. I went a little overboard it seems. I have only jumped into the Scooby Doo packs so far, and hope to hit the GI Joes soon!!!

Also found one of those rumored to exist Stargat SG•1 Best Lock sets at Target. I only picked it up due to its extreme, never been seen, existence. It was on sale for $2.99, and was the last one. It makes no sense!!!

Smurfs Micro Village Gargamel Castle and Windmill Playset Review

This weekend got away from me, I forgot to post the new review up on the old blog. Got to say this is a fun set, pick it up and maybe another, and you get a good start into collecting these micro dudes.

Pirate Smurf Starter Set Micro Village Ahoy!

Great set if you can find it! It helps advance the waterways of Smurf Village. My boat peg is upside down, but I still like it. Nice addition to the Micro Village!

A look at the Smurfs Mega Bloks blind packs. I dunno, I think Mega Bloks did a pretty good job with their Smurf stuff. I like the accessories that each Smurf gets.

The Smurfs 2 Mcdonalds Happy Meal Toys 2013

If you are in to collecting Smurfs, like I am lately, now is your chance to get a good set at the Happy Meal place McDonalds! 16 to collect. They are made to look for the movies, but some still have that classic smell. They are solid hunks of plastic so if you want motion, go with Megabloks instead. But if you like a nice shelf full of pretty Smurfs, check them out!

The Smurfs Micro Village Cook Baker Starter Set

Its Cook Smurf's turn for the business. This is a neat set for the cooking enthusiast i suppose.  My Village is growing nicely now.

The Smurfs Micro Village Smurfette Starter Pack Series 1

Now the Smurfs have a lady in their village to mess with! The Smurfette pack comes with a house, flowerbed, and a turn in the road. Its not too exciting on action features though. Still though its nice to have such a powerful icon as Smurfette around to distract the boys.

The Smurfs Micro Village! Brainy Smurf Starter Set Review

Brainy is one of those Smurf legends, and here is his pad. An action feature is included with this set that launches Smurfs off a tree trunk. I will have to hunt down a few more of these sets, the more you get, the bigger the village!

The Smurfs Micro Village Handy and Clockwork Neighbor Pack Series 1

I am usually quite skillful at deflecting Smurf toys, but when the words "Micro" and "Build Smurf Village" come into play I can't resist. This toy is as awesome as it sounds. Vibrant and small, the infinitely customizable Smurf Village is a thing of beauty. I just need to get a few more sets so I can dress up as Gargamel and attack the village.
