LEGO Minifigures Series 15 Collection! Shark Suit Guy, Queen, Laser Mech! and some codes!

As always another epic series of figures for Lego Minifigures series 15. From Shark Suit guy to Janitor, things are pretty covered well!

The Queen has an epic big dress, and Clumsy Guy likes to fall down.

Astronaut is a nice throw back modified classic Lego Space Man, and Laser Mech is spiffy!

I tired to mark some codes that I found, but I am now moving out of the code phase and just sticking with package smooshing...

Find these sets February 2016!

LEGO Dimensions Portal Game Starter Pack Batman Wild Style and Gandalf Lead the way!

My first impressions of the new LEGO Dimensions gaming portal, is "Wow Oh Wow!" Lego is jumping on board the gravy train of portal gaming, but this time you get a little more for your buck. Most portal systems involve a statue like game piece, and when you are not playing the game on screen, there is not much to do other then look at your figures. With Lego Dimensions, the game pieces are just regular Legos so you can still play with them anytime. Also during gameplay, you are challenged to build and rebuild certain game pieces. This makes for really awesome game!

The Starter Pack retails for $99.99 which includes plenty to play with. It is higher than other Portals, but again you get to play with those legos anytime.

There are many expansion sets too, Wave 1 is on shelves with more waves to come. Jurassic World would be my favorite to start with. There are plenty other collections with DC Universe, Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, The Simpsons, just to name a few.

LEGO Dimensions is a big investment, but its highly worth it!

LEGO Mixels Series 6 Weldos Max Kramm Forx & Wuzzo King Nixel Opening Build Review

The Weldos tribe has some serious tool power for the LEGO Mixels Series 6. This group would be fun if you are into LEGO city sets. Kramm, Forx, and Wuzzo all have a nice construction vibe, and are a fun build for each. The Weldos Max is also pretty cool with that wrecking ball!

LEGO Mixels Series 6: The Munchos! Snax, Berp and Vaka-Waka are candy eating mixes!

Series 6 of the Popular Lego Mixels line just hit shelves, and they are still looking silly crazy! The Munchos are candy eating Mixels, and they haven't missed a step.

All three of this line are instantly devowerable! Berp has Treadwell Droid feelings all over.

Look for these now on shelves, about $3.99 to $4.99 each.

Lego Mixels Series 2 Orange Packs Flexers Kraw, Tentro, and Balk!

The year must be moving fast as Series 2 Lego Mixels are already hitting shelves! I liked the orange bags the best, so I went with that first. They are from the flexible plastic lands I guess, but resemble sea life crabs and squids. The Flexers Max looks amazing but the pdf is not loaded yet, and I didn't want to attempt from one sided picture. Find these at Toys R Us and pretty much anywhere Legos are sold.

The Simpsons Lego Minifigures Mystery Packs Part 2

A second round of Simpsons blind packs opening a foot. So far, identifying packs has been pretty smooth.  A small mix up with Lisa and Mr Burns happened I think, I totally had the Plutonium rod in hand, but ended up with a saxamaphone. Such a whimsical collection, just need to finish off with Burns, Millhouse, and Apu.

Lego Mixels Series 1 Cragsters Krader Shuff and Seismo Opening

Its official, I am a Mixel nut. Too much fun with these guys for a good price too. The Cragsters were a lot cooler than I thought too. Shuff has lots of character, Krader's spin slap is strong, and Seismo is tall.

Lego Mixels Series 1 Red Infernites Flain Vulk and Zorch

I enjoyed the yellow Electroids so much, I went ahead and got the Infernites. They seem like a good value too, only about 5 bucks a bag.

1988 Lego Space Futuron Sets

My un-vaulted Lego bin keeps giving...

1988 Lego Space Futuron Sets! Again, I figured I would have less than 50% of the parts to complete any of these old sets. Turns out I had closer to 95%!!! Futuron sets where like the Next Generation of Lego Space sets. You can even see it in the uniforms...

I completely forgot about the Lego Futuron Twin-Winged Spoiler 6828 until I saw instructions online. I knew those strange wing pieces did something cool, they turn into legs! I so have a walking lego leg space fetish!

The Lego Futuron Hovercraft 6875 was an all time favorite of mine for throwing down the stairs, exploding, and rebuilding. Fun Fact: Side pods detach into drones.

The Lego Futuron Strategic Pursuer 6848, is another leg walking set. This one had really good articulation for a late 80's toy set.

I almost have enough pieces for another Futuron set, but I can't figure what they are for yet. Maybe I got a few spare parts from friends. Such fancy sets of yesterday!

Then there is this older space set. I'm just not sure which set its from. Either 885 Space Scooter or 6803 Space Patrol. Hmmmm, I have parts for either.

1986 Lego Alien Moon Stalker 6940

After seeing Benny in "The Lego Movie" I was really curious to see how my ancient Lego collection was doing in my Parent's basement depository. I was pretty sure that my 1986 Lego Alien Moon Stalker would be in dire shape, missing at least half of its pieces. Turns out, I had enough to rebuild it, with just a few substitutions!

Probably one of my all time favorite Lego sets ever made, because of its many features. A quadrupedal walker (like a Star Wars AT-AT), with two detachable side ships, and two missiles carried in its center.

The flexible gripper arm is more awesome than you can dream awesome.

I have two extra Space Minifigures, which I am not sure what they are from, but they are a nice addition to the team. One space missile is incomplete. I am more than thrilled that I have my original set, and did not have to find someone else's through eBay.

Also in the bin of Legos, that I had to rebuild from, was a Blacktron Space Walker!!! I apparently have something for walking Lego ships? Again, amazing that I had enough of the pieces to rebuild.

(The guy on the red bike is clearly a serial killer btw.)

And for a quick insane size comparison with the newer Star Wars AT-AT!

So glad I took the time to look, and rebuild the Moon Stalker. Also glad the internet has all the instructions still around, and a tablet to work from! This set will again be displayed and played for years to come.

The Lego Movie Set MetalBeard's Duel 70807 Review

I usually leave the lego set reviews for the big dogs, but I really like Metal Beard, and in some ways he is more action figure like anyways. Lots of fun with this set!

McDonalds Happy Meal The LEGO Movie Cup Collection 8 Styles!

So here is a weird direction for Happy Meal, Cups vs Toys. Of course I would prefer toys, but that doesn't make these cups bad, just different. 8 Character cups from the awesome The Lego Movie. They have a 3D lenticular affect, and you can scan them into the Mc Play Ap for some mini games.

Quick Thoughts on The Lego Movie!

The Lego Movie staring Lego Minifigures and lots of bricks was pretty darn amazing. I would say it opened very ADHD with lots to take in, settled into a curious story, and ended profoundly tear jerking, affecting my soul to the core. Deep.

I was not expecting so many official Minifigures to make appearances, as well as past sets, themes, even set identification numbers. Also a ton of stars, to name just one, C3P-O Anthony Daniels.  I was worried that the new Minifigure characters would feel made up for re-sell, but that was not the case, many are now instant classics, including the strange cat figure character. I heard several audience members of old yell out, "I had that set when I was a kid!!"

Amazing animation with emphasis on Stop Motion. In recent years many animated movies felt flat or stale, this appeared very fresh and clever. Seeing explosions made of brick and lasers used with laser pieces was awesome. Good voice over work too.

So of course, obviously, a guy who runs a toy blog recommends it, (what a shocker). Go see it, I hope to see one more time in the theatre.

The Lego Movie Minifigures Blind Packs Bags 71004 Codes Series 12 ?

Following Lego Minifigures Series 11, is The Lego Movie Minifigure Blind Packs 71004. If this is Series 12, or just Movie Blind packs is unknown...  Lego's Minifigures Bio page has it listed as The Movie, and I guess we will see when Series 12 or 13 comes out (or do they skip 13 as well (13th floor???))

Whatever series it is, there are 16 new minifigures to look for. What makes them great? Some are character movie specific, others are normal new mini figures like Panda Suit guy and Lincoln. So it pretty much feels like Series 13. Can't wait to see the movie too.

Scooby-Doo Mystery Micro Figures Character Building

Finally a good chance to collect some Scooby-Doo toys has presented itself with Character Building Lego like toys. I think this style and scale will be a perfect fit for this sacred license. The blind bags are mainly generic monster stuff, but there are a few gems too. Character Building has a good price point too, at $1.99 per blind bag. Scoop em up if you see em!

Swing Set Fail and a Portland Haul

I just got back from a nice (but way too short) trip to the Oregon Coast.  More awesome weather shots are posted on the IDstormtroopers page. Fall is a great time to get out and overturn rocks and stuff.

I also got sometime in at Toys R Us Jantzen Beach Portland, where they actually restock their toys regularly. I went a little overboard it seems. I have only jumped into the Scooby Doo packs so far, and hope to hit the GI Joes soon!!!

Also found one of those rumored to exist Stargat SG•1 Best Lock sets at Target. I only picked it up due to its extreme, never been seen, existence. It was on sale for $2.99, and was the last one. It makes no sense!!!

And also A Papa Smurf Micro Village piece with moving snail car!
