The 2015 Dragons have been redesigned slightly, with new smaller figures that can ride any of the new slightly smaller Dragons. I have been thinking on these lots lately, and if they are better or not. I think. in the end, they are just different, and since they are easier to say, fit in the palm of your hand, I kind of like them now. Hookfang, Stormfly, will be next as always...

How to Train Your Dragon 2 Belch and Barf Power Dragon with the Rolling Flame Attack
Looking to roll a dragon around, look no further than Rolling Flame Attack Belch & Barf. Kind of a fun distraction, but if you are looking for a more accurate B&B look for the more normal version.

How to Train Your Dragon 2 Skullcrusher Power Dragon Toy from Spin Master
Finally after the movie has come and gone, Skullcrusher a most popular dragon is out and about on store shelves. I actually have not seen one at stores yet, referring to Amazon for this one. Totally worth the wait, Skullcrusher is a mighty fun toy. His color is a tad too green, but other than that makes for a fun playable dragon toy. Now we need a Stoik the Vast to ride on tops.

How to Train Your Dragon 2 Astrid and Racing Hiccup Action Figures Review
Finally an Astrid figure appears on shelves. There are many Dragons made from Spin Master, but not enough good figures to ride them. She sits okay on Stormfly with a little work. Looks good, hope for Fishlegs in 2017.

Defenders of Berk Lunge Attack Toothless and Purple Thunderdrum
The Fall of 2014 brings some new waves of Dragons. A standing or lunging Toothless was a surprise as was this Purple Thunderdrum. Many more Dragons out soon!

How to Train Your Dragon Mega Toothless Alpha Dragon and a Kids Cuisine
Talk about a big hunk of plastic this dragon is. Looks pretty good for maybe a guard statue or something.

Dragons Nabi Morpho Pods, the Head Wing and Tail Mystery Packs
This toy might be taking the blind mystery pack too far. To build a dragon, you must buy a Head, Wing, and Tail pack to complete it. So what happens when Grandma just buys you tails? In some strange twist, I was able to get all Toothless parts, even though I was kind of hopping for some mix and match.
The whole Pod thing also does not make much sense. I don't remember them Podding themselves in the movies. I might accept dragon eggs or something. Also they cheat with the Wing and Tail pods needing to have the Wings and Tail piece added to them after the Pod transformation.
The final product is a long snake like Dragon with way too many joints and springs, however I do kind of like it somehow. It is so odd that it just might make it on my desk for awhile. The Pods also activate your Nabi Dream Tablet if you have one (yeah, thats got to be a huge demographic), and you can do somethings with School of Dragons App.
So thats what this toy is all about, make sure you get all three color bags to build one dragon.

Dragons Defenders of Berk Fireworm Queen Dragon Toy
Here's a dragon thats a little harder to find. The Fireworm Queen is that dragon that does the fire thing, and the queen thing. She has light-up effects and some tongue lashing too. I couldn't find it around my land and had to order on Ebay, which was annoying because the one I got smelled of smoke and stinky perfume. If you are going to scalp people, please do so cleanly!!!

How to Train Your Dragon 2 Power Dragon Toothless with Power Glow and more Power and stuff.
Another Toothless? Jeez he might make a run at the number of Batman that I have collected over the years. This one is a pretty good one though, overall balanced figure with good solid light-up feature. Good wing articulation too. Hit this one up, if you haven't picked any of em up yet.

How to Train Your Dragon 2 Power Dragon Meatlug with Gronckle Spike Blast
Dragons 2 Meatlug is a solid looking figure, but the action feature needs more testing. Its pretty tricky to get all four spikes to blast at the same time. With that said, she looks really close to Meatlug this time (vs. forest green Berk version). Hopefully an updated Fishlegs will appear to ride her.

McDonalds How to Train Your Dragon 2 Happy Meal Discs Toothless Cloudjumper Meatlug and more!
Not figures this time, but Flying frisbee discs. I guess in some other countries figures are offered. The discs do perform fairly well going 30 to 40 feet. Discs available are Toothless, Cloudjumper, Meatlug, Hookfang, Stormfly, and Belch and barf. Colorful and easy to find (except maybe the black Toothless). Find them June 13th for a few weeks onward!

How to Train Your Dragon 2 Video Game from Little Orbit Xbox PS3 Wii and DS
With the truck loads of Dragons toys I have been reviewing through, it was neat to try out the new video game. The game is a fun and whimsical racer, tag, target shooter, fly around, game that can keep you busy for a few. Its nice that all five main Dragons are there, and play well. The game is available for most platforms (except maybe the most newest). Fun!

Dragons Defenders of Berk Scauldron Water Burst Attack
Scauldron the dragon can be a tricky find, but it looks like he is starting to make store shelves a little more often. Scauldron is a fun play with really springily flappy wings and spraying water head. Good color too. Keep an eye out for him in what is left of Berk stuff, as the newer How to Train Your Dragon 2 stuff floods the shelves.

How to Train Your Dragon 2 Toys R Us exclusive White Bewilderbeast Final Battle Set
There are two Bewilderbeasts out there, Gray and White. Toys R Us has the exclusive White version. The toys are mostly the same, with the Gray chained up on the horns, and the White comes with two ice projectiles instead of one. A miniature Cloudjumper also comes with the White, while a Toothless comes with the Gray.
I think I like the White slightly better, maybe looking cleaner or something. They both are fun toys to knock stuff around with and battle each other.

How to Train Your Dragon 2 Toothless Racing Stripes Power
Got to say AWESOME on this one. The red stripes just look really sleek. I guess maybe if you don't have a Toothless yet, get without stripes, but if you are in need of a striped one, you must get this!!!

How to Train Your Dragon 2 Ionix Toothless and Stormfly
Ionix brick Dragons are out for the new movie, and they are not that great at all. From first appearance they look pretty cool, but with a "Shapeshifting Block" core, they are rather lackluster. Well, at least Toothless, Stormfly and Hookfang have the bad build. I have yet to try Meatlug and Belch and Barf who have a different shapeshifting brick. Get them if you really like the Dragons, avoid if you are on the fence.
How to Train Your Dragon 2 CloudJumper the Stormcutter
Cloudjumper is one of the new Dragons for How to Train Your Dragon 2. He is a maroon mix of an X-wing and an Owl. Cloudjumper is a little smaller than some of the others, but he makes up it up in feeling more intricate. Flapping wings are fun.

How to Train Your Dragon 2 Bewilderbeast Final Battle Set
The Bewilderbeast final battle set for How to Train Your Dragon 2, is a head butting roaring good time. Scaled a bit larger than the regular sized dragons, Bewilderbeast has got it going in the action feature department. Mouth missiles and head and arm movements. A good toy for knocking stuff around!

How to Train Your Dragon 2 Hiccup vs. Drago
Its hard to believe with all the Dragons figures I have looked at, I never really tried the Humans out. Maybe they were too docile looking. Now with the new movie coming, there are updates to the humans with armor and better battle gear. They are still in the same scale, and Hiccup fits nicely on top of Toothless. Drago, is a little bulky, and hard to sit though. These are pretty fun to sit on Dragons, and make play even more daring. Look for them now appearing on shelves.
