Power Rangers Dino Charge Megazord T-Rex, Stego and Tricera Zords!
The Power Rangers Dino Charge Megazord is already pushing the Power Rangers Super MegaForce off the shelves. It always amazes me how fast the turnover rate for new seasons of Power Rangers happens. Dino Charge is the 22nd season for Power Rangers in the USA. Its great to see the Zords going back to their roots again (and again) with Dinosaurs, as that is how it always should be!
This Megazord is only a three team Zord builder though. There will be more sets to use the Zord Builder interchangeable toys, but it would still be nice to build up to five, we will see.
The gimmick this time are Chargers, that activate a small action feature, like a flip up sword or drill. Nothing to exciting, but will open the wallet to collecting more things.
The Pink Tricera Zord is really bright Pink! The mouth on Tricera and Stego open really wide for the Charger (and to bite clamp onto Megazord). Looks fun and cool.
Start seeing these toys appear late on shelves 2014 and onward! Go go Power Rangers!

Toys R Us Exclusive Lord Zedd Might Morphin Power Rangers
Another run of classic Power Rangers are out, this time 5" Toys R Us exclusives. They look really nice, with packaging like the originals. I am still happy with my 4" line from a few years back, so I am not sure how far I will go with these. Lord Zedd was a must, as I do not have a Zedd, and it doesn't matter if he is larger. At $20 bucks a figure though, I might just stop there (maybe a White Ranger will temp me).

Power Rangers Super Megaforce Legendary Megazord
The past few years has yielded some really nice Megazords. Even though I am still not sold on the Pirate deal, I like this new Legendary Megazord. It is well balanced player in the field, and can do some things.

Power Rangers Super MegaForce Blue Ranger Action Hero
If I am completely off base with why the new Rangers look silly as Pirates, let me know.

Mc Megazord MegaForce Power Rangers Zords 2013
If you were to pick one set of Happy Meal toys per year, this would be a good one. Six neat looking zords that combine to form the Gosei Great Megazord! For a happy meal toy, it looks pretty good too. He would stand nice on any collection shelf. If only I had some dry ice and a model table, I would have had him fight Inspector Gadget.

Cantina Holidays St. Patricks Day! What will happen next?!
The Toy Museum brings you today the second installment in my Cantina Holidays series! Lots of antics a happening at the Cantina. It's amazing what you can see when you sneak your camera droid inside. Have fun watching, and please share if you find amusing!

Power Rangers Megaforce Armored Ultra Mode Blue Ranger
When I saw the Ultra Mode Blue Ranger a couple weeks back I passed out slightly. This guy fills in the top of my Blue Ranger collection quite nicely. Fully articulated, with tons of armor, this guy can do everything! A little easy to knock off armor, but still fun to play with. A red Ranger is also available. I found mine at Toys R Us for a wallet breaking $19.99.

Power Rangers Megaforce Mega Bloks Blind Bag figures Codes Series 1
I didn't realize at the store that these new Power Ranger Megaforce guys had whole new figure design to them. I think these are fantastic, although maybe not perfect for block building sets. They might lack the pants lock system, but they look great as minifigures.
I can't get over how cool the new look is. Bell hop sheik meets Power Rangers.
I do wish that for series 1, all the Rangers were consistent, but maybe that will make series 2 all the more fantastic. More battle damage please...
You can fit weapon on to their backs by the way.
Good set, now if I can only find the BLUE ONE!!!
Some Codes if you are looking for the full set:
Red Ranger - A06122MM
Blue Ranger - A12122MM
Black Ranger - A11122MM

Saturday Assortment
I took a trip out today to look for a Cantina band player. I know exactly the set I want, available through ebay, but I don't think I will get it in time for the antics of this week. I was hoping to find one in town to hold me over, but it looks like it was a little more rare than normal. I did pick up this assortment at our local reseller Time Zone Toys.
First off, an older Star Wars Power of the Force collection, Ponda Baba. I hope to get the fancy one sometime soon, but this one will be fine for the short term. I like how the previous collector kept the card.
Second, a G.I. Joe 25th "New" Cobra Commander. I purchased most of the 25th line, but for somehow reason, missed this one. CC in Battle Armor is one of my favorites. Not really because he is Cobra Commander, but more as it's a really ass kicking costume!
Thirdly three, at the very end I noticed some loose Blue Rangers in the Power Ranger bin. I collect Blue Rangers, and was floored to find a really nice Blue Dino Thunder Ranger. Also a somewhat loose Blue Space Ranger, in which I will have to get a battery to see if the helmet light up feature will still work. A Space Police ranger with the big number "2" on the suit is the last one (one of my favorite Ranger designs btw). He is missing his hand, I wonder what horrible accident befell him?
Fourthly and finally a Rainbow Dash for my kiddo, or at least I like to say it that way.

Thundercats Armor of Omens with Golden Lion-O
Happy New Year from the Armor of Omens, the now defunct and obscure mechanized suit! I have been eyeing this guy for months, watching and waiting for a clearance event. Usually this time year is "gold," as all the stores try to offload a stockpile of highly unsuccessful toys, in hopes for room for more lesser than highly unsuccessful toys. I was surprised to see my Local Walmart so cleared out already. Luckily I found the Armor of Omens in a random place, and it was actually priced at $11.00 instead of what was marked. Of course there was some "slight" shelf wear...
I find it a pretty fun mid sized action figure. Interesting shape, pretty shiny gold, and a few tricks.
Deep inside the chest, sits golden Lion-O. It's too bad they were lazy and made him only gold, a little more detail would have been nice. He fits nicely in my collection of strange golden artifacts.
I will give points for not only snapping in mechanically, but also magnetically with the Thunderlynx tech. The front panels also snap well back into place. toys like this, its typical for the flaps to flop off easily, but not this guy, its solid. Armor of Omens comes with a neat large scale Sword of Omens. With a press of a button on his back AoO makes a sword slicing sound, while his eyes glow red. It would have been nice for maybe a second sound effect. His arms have elbow joints that bend and rotate.
AoO reminds me of Power Rangers stuff, maybe because its Bandai made. AoO also reminds me of Goldar, which I can put to good use quickly...
I would give this toy a pretty good score. Its simple yet fun. Just grab a good grip to AoO solid non moving torso and legs, and just start pounding your opponent.
And with that TheToyMuseum begins its ninth year of blogging! On the 20th anniversary of Star Trek Deep Space Nine, if that means anything. Lots of the same stuff in store for this year. Enjoy.

2012 Christmas Haul-elujah!
I don't want to blab too much on Christmas and the goodness of mankind like Reis did on his blog post at Dork Horde Prime, so I will just get to the loot I got right away...
1. Optimus Maximus - When I first saw this toy, I thought it was ridiculous/absurd. Then I found it at discount, bought it, gave it to my wife to make sure she got it for me. With the purchase of the Masterpiece Optimus Prime earlier this month, I realized it was time to unnecessarily build a larger ridiculous Optimus Prime shrine. A toy like this will really stand out.
2. Which led to this discounted Kre-O Optimus Prime that I also bought, gave to my wife to give to me.
3. Beast Wars Rattrap. I saw this guy at Timezone toys reseller on my last visit, shot a picture, and had my wife go find this one to give to me (I had to make her do something). Finally, I think, I have all the first run Maximals from the first part of season 1.
4. Machine Wars Optimus Prime. Also found at reseller by my wife, I wanted a Prime that was in less than terrific condition for a future project. I remember passing on this toy several times in the late 90's at KB Toys, and now look at it as it is the most prettiest thing ever.
4. Lego Star Wars Desert Skiff. Such a cool Lego set from my Sister. I have always wanted to build a Sarlacc, and maybe it will even appear in a future minifigures battles stop motion.
5. HexBug Warriors Arena set from my Dad (per my forced suggestion)! Oh this is amazingly cool! You have to get one! It comes with two bugs, but with too more, you get some amazing, hilarious, out of control, weaponized bug battles. It is so fun when two randomly go after one. Or when another just ditches battle entirely, goes over the side, and walks away. I will show more soon...
6. The complete Original Classic Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Series! Thats right, the grand daddy present of them all, from my wife. This is amazing, like totally 19 discs of Ranger adventures. So many memories packed in, I will be watching pretty much all year with all that content.
So yeah, an amazing run of stuff this year. Also got some normal things like a sweater, coffee mug, homemade tasty Hot Coco, and a weed whacker. Great gifts, just not for this blog audience. Oh, I should also show stuff my baby girl got, cause lets face it, I will be playing with it too.

Power Rangers Megaforce Blue Ranger & Hot Wheels Shark Zord
Finally Power Rangers is moving out of Samurai and into Megaforce, so excited for a new change! I really dig the "Fancy" new Ranger suits! Something about gold trim and white pants.
I have also been watching a ton of old Morphin Episodes of late, thanks to my wife's Christmas gift of that huge Power Rangers boxed set. I think only 135 episodes left to watch. I tell you that old show still rocks. Fast paced, great music, such a classic!

Mega Bloks Power Rangers Super Samurai Series 2 Blind Bag
Once I found out that Bulk was in Series 2, I had to pick up a few bags. Is it me or do Power Rangers look really cool in Mega Blok form. I have to find that Translucent Blue Ranger now.

Power Rangers Mystic Force Solar Streak Megazord
My family has a genetic disorder in train loving, so when I got a chance to get a Mystic Force Solar Streak Megazord, I took it. It is from the 2006 line of Mystic Force Power Rangers. I am kind of dumbfounded I didn't not purchase it back then, only to say I got married that year, so maybe I had my mind on other things.
I found it at my favorite toy reseller in almost perfect loose condition. It is missing its front boiler star shield, so I will have to start hunting for that (Oops, in this front view picture the cow grill is up, and the Megazord is flashing you).
The steam engine is the most complex part of the Zord featuring some light transformation, wheel moving, front red light, and terrific sound effects. A long steam engine drive sound effect is great play, as well as some transforming sounds too. The engine almost feels diecast, heavy from the batteries and wheels. You can see the new Mega Bloks Samurai Rangers scale pretty good to it.
The back/main body of the Zord forms the coal hopper, and has some nice transformation to it. The rest of the train are the arms and legs, and for fitting into one shot I will leave it at this. The train gets pretty long, three or four feet long! Totally a toy I would have killed for at age three.
Oops, he is flashing again, sorry! Such a fun time Megazord.
This is a really great Steam Engine, Steam-Punk like, robot warrior!

Power Rangers Super Samurai Happy Meal Toy Review 2012
Power Rangers! Pretty much a yearly thing to have Power Rangers in your Happy Meals. I like this assortment idea, with half figures, half weapons. The weapons mostly disc launchers are kind of zippy to play with. Look for the highly detailed Shark Sword Disc Launcher, I would take that in a bar fight first thing. Also of course, I recommend the blue ranger too.

Star Wars Fighter Pods Series 2 Blind Bag Opening
It was 108 degrees today, so I hit the AC store toy aisle and got stuff to amuse me. Heck even some more Fighter Pods should do the trick. With Series 2 out, I could avoid repeats, so I got a couple bags. Not the most exciting of results. I am going to have to spring for that AT-AT pack some day.

Blue Power Rangers
Idstromtroopers dug through massive amount of tonnage of toy to get to this Blue Time Force Ranger. As soon as I saw the cell phone pic, I said I says "Me Like the Blue Power Ranger!" You see, I collect blue Power Rangers. Mostly because its my favorite color, and not because I identify with David Yost's lifestyle (not that there is anything wrong with that).
This Ranger actually comes with a bike and weapons, but those are long destroyed. What's funny about this toy is that his legs appear backwards. I am sure it was designed that way so he could sit on a bike, but when you want to stand him flat footed, you need to rotated them 180˚.
This figure of course reset my mad ability to not let toy ideas go, and has restarted my urge to collect all blue Power Rangers toys. At least one from each series. I quickly panicked, and ran to the store remembering that a blue Power Rangers Samurai has been on the shelves for months, and I didn't want to miss my chance.
Phew! This version, besides the previous Classic Blue Power Ranger is one of the better designs. He has good articulation, nice sized weaponry, and good overall play value. The sword has a nice long peg for belt fitting.
So here is my Blue Power Ranger collection to this date. I really need to catch up!
If you would like to help me, and have any on the list below, PLEASE, let me know. I will pay top dollar, up to ten, for any conditioned Blue Rangers. I urge you to go through your little brothers collection bins, older sisters jewelry boxes, uncle Lloyds fishing tackle boxes, and find me the missing spots! Especially a girly girl Mystic Force light blue Ranger.

Trouble at the Batcave
Its always "interesting" what happens to the toys when the Niece and Nephews come over and visit. Things must have got really crazy when Batman had to Bat-a-rang his own Semi truck up onto the second floor railing.
Smurfette was able to tie up Gorilla Grodd on the crain before her untimely demise.
Finally, when a Power Ranger falls, it is tradition to place their sword on their back as they lay with their arms and legs in the air.
