Go Green Ranger Go!

The prophecy has been fulfilled!

I never liked the Green Ranger's golden triangle dickie. Who is he to have an accessory that makes him look more important than the others. If anything, Tommy should have had training wheels. Although maybe the Green Triangle was Zordon's way of training? Bah!

Yuck! These colors clash horribly without the balance of the Pink Ranger. I must find her.

Three Rangers and their Zords

Too bad these Zord are not scaled to the Rangers! They still look great though. They are simpler then the original, but thats okay. No chrome to ding and fingerprint up.

I like how simple the Blue Ranger Zord is. Just some head and tail movement and no rollers, yet it is still menacing!

The Black Ranger has a good riding spot up top on the Mastodon. However the Mastodon looks like he is in continuous Vacuuming mode.

Black Ranger Zack

Bored tonight, so lets open up the new Black Ranger of the old classic Black Ranger.

Say Hi to Zack everyone!

Oh, Say Hi to the other Zack everyone! So I got this antique Black Ranger with a few other Power Rangers on Ebay the other day. I am thinking this one originally had a bike to ride. For as dorky as the early Power Rangers looked, they jumped everyone else in making a true "action figure." Look at all that articulation. A Batman Animated Series figure would have no moves against this guy. Note to self; Hmm that could be a funny Stop motion.

Like the others, he comes with a Battle Axe weapon, Laser Gun, and Dino-Wing base with claws.

Say goodbye to Zack everyone.

Robot vs. Fire

I had so much fun with my last Stop Motion project, I made a sequel! This time going all out with special effects and even my very own soundtrack! Still having lighting issues, I tried some different camera functions, but still same light flicker results. Looks like it might just be an old camera. All and all I am really pleased with its turnout. You don't know what kind of patience and time consumption a small project like this takes. Well, todays was about five hours, and 114 photos. Enjoy!

This just in: The Yellow Ranger is shaped like a woman!

At least early on, there were some really bad proportioned lady Rangers. Usually just the standard guy figure, repainted as the Yellow or Pink Ranger. I think I even once saw a guy proportioned ranger with added breasts to pass as a girl Ranger. Or worse, the guy figure with breasts who was passed as a girl Ranger, then passed back to guy Ranger. Anyways, some really sick looking Rangers are out there!

But this new Yellow Ranger looks like a girl, and not some sort of freak of nature!

The Yellow Ranger's Butt number placement kind of stands out. Its hard to see the numbers on the other colors, which makes me wonder how the Black one turned out.

She completes my Primary Color Power Ranger Team. Now she can work with the Blue Ranger to make the Green Ranger. At least I think that is how the Green Ranger was made? It has been awhile since I saw that prophecy.

Patrulla de Combatientes de Arcilla AKA Putty Patrol

I'm sure my friend Sideshow will ask why did I spend hard earned money on the oh so lame Putty Patrol action figure. I suppose I could counter that the toy came out pretty good. Good likeliness, good articulation, and you can make that noise they make too when playing with it.

I need something for my Rangers to fight, and since Putties always attack in groups, I might have to buy a couple more.

It comes with the Ranger's combined weaponry for some reason.

For now, this one will do, for Jason and Billy's strange experiments.

The Red Ranger

I still like the blue one better.

The Blue Ranger is my favorite!

I may have said it before, but one of my greatest toy collecting misses was not buying a Blue Ranger from every different series of Power Rangers. Could you image the collection? I might still try one day with ebay, but while I wait this new original will do.

I am so over impressed with these so far. I never have been a big fan of the quality of Ban Dai toys, but I take it all back with this line. They are sized well, jointed well, stand well, weaponed well, and overall made well. The plastic feels good, with soft plastic hands, and tight joints. It looks they can be positioned in multiple ways, without falling down.

Yeah they come with silly bird sleds, but you don't have to use them.

They do come with original style weapons and guns, although I do wish the gun was white, and they hold on to them too without dropping.

If you get a chance pick one up.

The Black and Blue Ranger

I found the Black and Blue Ranger tonight. Looks like the Pink Ranger will be the last one to hunt for. I have still yet to open the figures, I like them so much in their packages. I wish boxes didn't get so destroyed when opening. They all seem to come with a bird display stand. I wonder what that is all about? Well I am sure I will open them soon, and then the fun really begins!

Yellow Ranger and Nerve Hammer

Bart got me a Yellow Ranger for my birthday. He was a little late, but that was okay. I haven't opened any of the figures yet, I like looking at them in the package at the moment. I did open the mighty Megazord and was really blown away on how cool it was! I thought the plastic and stickers would make it less cool, but instead they enhanced it. The toy felt really original and that if I were still five, it would be my favorite toy. For a combiner all five pieces felt important too. Even the Pterodactyl with its hollow back side. I am sure I will do something more creative with it for show soon.

The fire car has been found! Its really red and pretty. Can't see too well from my picture but it has a golden fire bird on the hood. I can't wait to start hunting for greeny.

Birthday Swag!

Darth Vader chop sticks/skewers!

As Reis from Geek-Orthodox always says check out my cool Birthday Swag! At least I think he said that a few times? ANy hoo, my birthday being almost a week ago, I had to wait and wait until Saturday to get some loot. Not that I wanted anything, I am happy with just the huge mountain of toys I already have. But if someone were to say... get a bunch of Power Rangers and then give them to various people to give to me, I won't fight.

I always wanted an original Megazord! Think of the stop motion possibilities.!

I'm still new to the X-Box scene so these three games should get me started. I can't wait to try the best Zombie game ever made. Anything with Ben 10, is good too!

These Birthday socks look nice and warm.

And a Tripod! I used a bump-able mini tripod to do stop motion, so I asked for something more sturdy. Now I just need to get a better camera to attach it to.

Thanks all for the awesome gifts!
