Festivus at the Cantina, Part 5
Han: How did you come up with Festivus Obi Wan?
Obi Wan: Many Christmases ago, I went to buy a doll for someone I was watching over.
Obi Wan: I reached for the last one they had, but so did another man.
Obi Wan: As I rained blows upon him, I realized there had to be another way.
Leia: What happened to the doll?
Obi Wan: It was destroyed. But out of that a new holiday was born: a Festivus for the rest of us!
Han: That must have been some doll.
Obi Wan: She was.
Luke: Oh, God.

Festivus at the Cantina, Part 2; Airing of Grievances
Han and Lando finally have a intense discussion on who gets to wear the cool smuggler uniform
A decision was almost made...
But then Greedo aired a Grievance on Han, and was shot.
Then Leesub learned a new trick...
And everyone was distracted AGAIN!
We will take a break for the Feats of Strength is up next!

Festivus at the Cantina, Part 1
Looks like the Mos Eisley Cantina is celebrating a little Festivus this year.
They have constructed a really nice and sturdy unadorned aluminum pole. That should get things going...
Oh No!
No-no-no!
Looks like Leesub has claimed the pole.
Now that everyone is distracted, we better take a break before the Airing of Grievances.

Why did Lando Take Han's clothes and Why is it so popular?
My blog isn't the most active place in the world, but for some reason this week an old post has really been getting attention. I guess the debate is back on why did Lando take Han's costume at the end of Empire Strikes Back? Maybe Leesub likes the blue pants vest combo?
Anybody know why people are searching for this topic so much this week?

Leesub Sirln, the most inappropriate Star Wars figure of all time.
Earlier this year I upped my nerd ante by starting to collect Star Wars Cantina figures. Most are pretty fun and creative, others are just plain strange. Then there is Leesub Sirln, a great toy for any young collector. Hasbro? Where are her pants?
Oh it gets worse.
What happens when she drops her drink?
I really hate to turn into one of those blogs butt...
Yikes! Can you imagine being a Chinese toy maker/painter. What a production line that must have been!
The box states, "Includes Droid Part!"
I really don't want to know what she does with that!

Perceptor This!
Last month I stumbled upon a reissue Transformers Perceptor at Toys R Us. I had no idea they were re-re-releasing him. I was excited to say the least.
Something about old generation 1 Transformers makes them so special. They certainly don't make them like they used to. I think a line in Beast Wars mentions diecast as a lost art form. They sure didn't design these to fake break like the newer ones do. One wrong move and snap, there goes a leg.
I especially like the shinny plastic chrome pieces. If you touch them once, they are finger printed forever. It can be pretty brittle too. You might as well wear white gloves when even touching these things. A nice feature is the box can be used for storage. They need to do that more often.
The instructions say 'Not a working Microscope.' To my surprise though, the scope magnifies a bit. There is a small reflecting mirror, and if you get something small in a good spot, it does magnify maybe 2 to 3 times.
Perceptor is the ultimate geek Transformer. You know something poindextory will come out of his metal flanges. Slightly high in price, but better than Ebays, he is well worth the hunt if he's still on the shelf.
