Lego Star Wars!

Lego Star Wars is by far the best game I have played in a while. Lots of fun stuff to do, play a variety of levels, collect a variety of things, smash lots of bricks, it's all good stuff. Lots of characters, abilities, and moves. Easy 2 player action as well. I look forward to the original.


Who knew Darth Maul and Jar Jar would be such a great duo. Maul moves the bricks and breaks the walls, Jar Jar jumps high to get the hidden treasures. I give this game five out of five lego man heads.

It's Star Wars Attacktix Inventory Time!

Yikes! Thats a lot of Attacktix! Whoever guesses the correct amount of Attacktix on this table gets the respect of knowing they counted the correct amount of Attacktix on this table! Now that I'm hooked again on series 4, I thought I better check to see what I have again. I'm still missing a critical Yoda and R2 unit. I'm still overdosing with Chewbacca's and clone troopers. I did weed out about 20 not shown on this table, that I will have to ebay. I will need the space if I start getting more. Dratfully I got a booster pack this week with a rerun Royal Guard and poorly painted Sand Trooper. I figure my odds right now are 50/50 for getting a new and different figure. I really want more Ewoks that is for sure. Those little guys took out an entire legion of the Emperors top troops if you didn't know. I would like to reenact that to see if I get the same results.

What a Crappy Saturday morning!

I was just getting into an awesome 3rd episode of season two Sigma Six when not 15 minutes into it Cobra Commander switches the feed to a baseball game! I have never seen anything like this, a show being interupted by a game that had already been started? Stupid Cobra Commander.


Luckily, in this unscripted momment, I thought Bart was going to teach Cobra Commander a lesson!


Oh Crap! He Joined his side. This sucks. Im never watching GI Joe again. Well maybe for this week. And Im going to the store to buy a new toy!!!

Return of the Attacktix!

I have shown unusually weird strengh lately, and have not bought any Star Wars Attacktix, until last night. Had some extra cash, but wanted to save some so I opted for a small toy fix. I guess this is series 4 now. The new boxes reflect the sellers knowledge of those people who used to rip open the old packs and get the rare figures first.


You practically have to have a lightsaber to rip this pack open now. And instead of three figures, you get two but at a lower price, but still just a bit more than the old packs. Ah marketing.


I got a Silver based Ewok and an AT-ST driver! two new ones for my armies!


A nice improvement to the figures is that the common figures have a smaller base; easier to knock over and less then a threat. Makes the rare ones more powerfull indeed.


I really like the Ewok logo, seen here in this close up. Do you think when Storm Troopers first landed on Endor they saw this carved into a tree? They probably laughed. Oh the irony. I hope to get just a few more packs with Ewoks. They would make a powerful force.

Double Long Ranges!

So I watched the season opener to GI Joe Sigma Six on Saturday and I was so excited I bought Long Range on E-bay. (Strange in that he wasn't even in the new episode) I figured he was out a while a go and chances that I will find him in store now a days be grim so I bidnowed and got him for about 25 cobras. Then I go to Walmart the next day (I know, that in itself is kind stupid) and there Long Range is for only 15 Cobras. Well things turned out better than they seem. It seems that the ebay long Range is a 'rarer' one with a little ity bity skull on his key chain to his gun. (of coarse they are all over e-bay so i doubt that it really makes it valuable) The one I got a Walmart has a little red blinking light inside, to catch attention I guess, but the other one does not have that. SO, which one do I open? Which one do I sell back. OR keep both in a magnetically airtight sealed safe underneith the house? I can't decide. I really want to play with the so called recoil action gun the box promotes. THat or I will open them both and they can be twins or something. ack.

Can you believe I finnally updated this place after a week off. Probably got you worried since the one year Toy Museum Anniversary is coming up very shorty. What to do...what to do. I'm feeling lazy lately, maybe I will post some reruns or 'flash back' blogs.

by the way, anybody seen the Super Ken Superman toy in the Barbie aisle lately. What's the deal with that?

Ever watch that old GI Joe episode where Lady Jaye and Ship Wreck land on a tropical island in search of a scientist Dr VanNostrom (forgot his real name) and then he tells Ship Wreck of a secret formula that turns water into a bomb but then Cobra attacks and the scientist dissappears and Ship Wreck is the only one who knows the formula cause the scientist puts a strange neral stamp on Ship Wrecks head, then Lady Jaye and Ship Wreck are attacked some more and they escape back to their ship that flys and dives and is being chased by Major Bludd and then they get to the USS Flag and there is a huge battle and Lady Jaye gets on board but Ship Wreck goes down on the little flying ship and then he wakes up in a bed and finds out its five years later and GI Joe won the battle against Cobra due to Ship Wreck's heroics, and then Ship Wreck is now married to his old flame Moyra who once had gills in a prior episode and he now has an annoying little girl but ship wreck keeps having bad dreams where Cobra is yelling at him to tell them the secrect formula but Ship Wreck doesnt know it cause Lady Jaye is the only one who knows the code word to tell Ship Wreck to remember the formula but Lady Jaye died on the sinking of the Flag during that great battle long ago, so Ship Wreck is loosing it big time he doesn't know what is going on, and then he is confronted by other retired Joes who then turn into Sinthoids which Ship Wreck tries to hit them and get away, and he does in a Sinthoid blob which goes down a chute that takes him to a Cobra Base where he wakes up in a bed and accidentally washes the grey out of his beard which makes him realize its not five years later and this is some sort of Cobra trick and then The Crimson Guard brothers grab him and gets him and puts him on a table and there strange new blond student trys to make him tell the formula in a dream like trance machine but Ship Wreck doesn't tell but then his bird Polly shots the evil bird Polly and Ship Wrek really starts figuring out that this is not Springfield but Cobra Base Alpha that the GI Joes had been searching for for years and he starts wandering around the base and finds a neat room where Cobra agents are testing out paper airplane like things that chase Ship Wreck and then he runs to the lab professor VanNostrom used and remembers the formula but then is surprised by every Cobra main player, and then Destro is like "give us the formula" and Ship Wrek is like "no!" so he pours it down the sink and Destro is like "No! that match won't ignite that!" and Ship Wrek calls his bluff and drops the match down the drain and nothing happens cause Destro was really right, but then Destros stupid troops fire at Ship Wrek and that explosion ignites the chemicals in the sink which blows up Cobra Base Alpha and the GI Joes see it and save Ship Wreck who is then hugged by Lady Jaye.

Yeah, I just watched that one.
