Yeah! He-Man is back!
Its about darn time the 2002 He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (booming voice) was released! This show is incredible. I missed most when it was on Cartoon Network-something about not having Cartoon Network. But now, its finally out!
Things I learned today:
1. How Skeletor got his Skull Face
2. The Masters of Morons at Mattel are idiots for cancelling the show so early!
3. Stratos sounds like Shawn Connery
4. Merman sounds like Waspinator
5. Bart does not like He-Man on his back
6. Cringer sounds like a wittle cat
7. What really is inside Castle Grayskull
8. Man-At-Arms sounds like Optimus Primal
9. Clawful makes neat clicking sounds when he talks.
10. He-Man is my friend!
I found my copy at Best Buy, you get a free dented spine mural starter box! (for some reason I thought that meant a free 'spine' kit for building Skeletor). Darn I wish mine wasn't dented. So, don't run out of the store too excited before you check your box for shipping damages.

Ace! Don't land there!
Ace tragically bailed out on the section of the couch held by the Crimson Guard Commanders.
Finally some new GI Joe's show up in town. But what is worse, is yet to come. According to my Toy Fair 2008 research, this will be a heavy hit wallet year. A ton of new GI Joe stuff is around the corner, Indiana Jones stuff a plenty, More Star Wars stuff, and Transformers Classics continues!!! I need an attack plan, or I'm going poor. I think I can stay clear of Transformers, I OD'd on those last year. All I need are a couple more Star Wars figures, to cap that addiction for a while. And I think, I can get just a few Indiana Jones toys, most look kind of silly.
But the GI Joe stuff? All they have to do is add a different hat, or paint scheme and I'm suckered. I bet you, I didn't need to get this Ace yesterday. I'm sure a Sky Striker plane is going to be released sometime distantly soon with, guess what...an Ace, will have to come with it--he's the main credited pilot for flying one of those darn things (but maybe he will have his full parachute???) (Its already going to happen with Serpentor (his Chariot, not parachute)). Its nice when they do the repeats with the soldiers though, for troop building. And I guess, I can bring the repeats to work for my desk scenery (really for my coworkers, to put in sick and disturbing positions when I'm not there!)
See, I told you.
Disturbing.
Although, what was Hasbro thinking with that Server Droid?!!
Perfect, how many Darth Vader's do I need?
Apparently four.
AND, I did open one of those finally.
I do need that 'chromey' headed Destro with the Weather Dominator.

Solar Quest The board game
Friday lunch game day continues with Solar Quest with Star Wars Micromachines used as game pieces. A long stretch yes, but Star Wars still included. Someone smart back in 1986 decided to make a game like no other, a real estate game based in the Solar System with Fedrons, and monopolies of moons, and special Red Shift cards. This completly original game took the world by storm. It even is used as an actual game at Krusty Burgers nation wide. Once I won a free ice cream cone, playing this game.
We only played for about an hour and fifteen minutes, but for once there is no clear winner. We all stopped with about the same properties, and about the same Fedrons. There are still lots of moons left to buy, so the game can still go in any favor. I look forward to visiting Uranus, I Red Shifted passed Uranus last time. Uranus.
This was the first time I actually played the game with the fuel system. Basically every time you leave a moon or planet, you are charged the amount of fuel equal to your dice roll. You can refuel at your own stations, or buy at your opponents stations for a huge price. This gives the game a nice bit of stress, as you watch your tanks empty out and end up stranded on Phoboes or something. There are also 'laser' battles! I never knew this game had 'laser' battles!!! If you roll two sixes in a 'laser' battle you can kill your opponent completly out of the game. Thats crazy! Can you imagine having tons of money, lots of great property, and then just DIE. But that's space I guess, very hostile.
Uranus.

Star Wars Money - What it all means...
Hasbro is packaging Star Wars Money with its action figures in its latest attempt to get you to buy their toys. It seems to be working on me. But what do these coins mean? I will try to interpret with the best of my Star Wars knowledge.
If you do a so-so effort on the job, your boss pays you one of these...
If your Star-car breaks down, you spend one of these to get it fixed...
Ask this guy nicely and he will slice your deli meat extra thin at the local Star-Blimpee.
And if you want to buy horrible torture, might want to keep one of these handy.
"They never even asked me any questions!"
