Monsters University imaginext figure dance party!
imaginext toys were clearly the winner over the official Monsters University toys. More to choose from, better likeliness, better articulation, all that stuff. I also like the simplified paint schemes going on with these guys. They are fun, and a better deal too at about $6.99 per two or three pack. Sulley and Art look great. Mike even has a retainer line going through his teeth. I strongly suggest picking up a few, if you like the style of Monsters Inc.

Cut the Rope Om Nom's Playground DELUXE SET instructions
This is the most maddening set of the Playground sets so far. As the largest set you are given lots of pieces, but getting them in the right places, not so easy. The illustration on the back is not much help, as you have to go a level higher, to get it to sort-of work. Once constructed, it only half works anyways, as things need to fall, land, and spring perfectly for a win. Still though, I had fun as it challenged me so much. Look for it at Toys R Us and give it a try if you dare!

Cut the Rope Om Nom's Playground Intro Set: Catapult Toy Review
Two reviews on the same day? Yeah! It seemed wiser to split these two reviews up. The Catapult is hardly fool proof. I would say 1 out of 300 are my odds. Still though, it looks spiffy, and if you collect many of these build sets you could possibly build a nice playground piece. Too bad the Om Noms are not different.
Cut the Rope Om Nom's Playground Intro Set: Spikes Toy
Even though these Playground sets function terribly, I still like them quite a bit. I think its the bright colors, and the mostly solid working parts. They just don't deliver the candy very well at the very end. Having an Om Nom figure is a plus, and the pieces that look like spikes are nice too. Maybe I will try and build a master machine some day.

Iron Man Micro Muggs Blind Box
The Iron Man Micro Muggs are pretty much a static figure, but they are clean and highly stylized which make them loads of fun. As you can see in the review, they come alive very easily.

Star Wars Fighter Pods Rampage Series 4
Series 4 of the Star Wars Fighter Pods are slowly showing up on shelves. I found a box of packs at Walgreens for $3.99 each, a dollar more than what you would normally expect. By far my favorite is Hoth Han Solo.
Here I open a few live, then tapped, and re-edited for your convenience...
Luke in Stormtrooper guise is a sign that the collection is getting thinner, but in some ways still going strong.
Finally I get a couple Jedi filler guys.

Knight Rider MiniMates
With my local Toys R Us about 9 days left till moving, things were getting to great deals. With 60% off, I could not pass (on lots of things). Knight Rider here ended up to be about 4 dollars! What a deal!
I have been eyeing K.I.T.T. for several months and am thrilled to get an 80's deal on it.
MiniMates figures have always been great on detail, maybe not so much in construction, but this set turned out to be pretty solid. I am glad to have it parked on my desk.
